I had the incredible opportunity to work with Jess Creter, a talented Wedding Stationery Designer and Custom Artist behind Tulaloo, during a branding session at a stunning mansion in Newport, Rhode Island. From the moment we stepped onto the property, I knew this session was going to be special. The mansion’s classic elegance and timeless charm were the perfect backdrop to reflect Jess’s art, which is all about delicate, personalized designs that feel both luxurious and intimate. My goal was to create images that not only highlighted her beautiful stationery but also captured the essence of the elevated, custom experience she offers her clients.

One of the most exciting parts of this shoot was how we carefully curated each element of the session to align with Jess’s brand. From the wardrobe to the props, everything was thoughtfully chosen to highlight the refined, artistic nature of her work. Jess’s outfits were selected to mirror the sophistication and warmth of her brand—elegant but approachable. We chose soft, neutral tones that would complement her artwork without overpowering it. The delicate fabrics, like lace and silk, added a touch of luxury, while also allowing the stationery to stand out as the focal point of each shot.

The props we selected played a key role in bringing Jess’s work to life. We incorporated fine details such as vintage ink pots, soft ribbons, and textured paper, all of which echoed the hand-crafted nature of her custom designs. The carefully chosen florals added a touch of romance, complementing the delicate calligraphy and watercolors she’s known for. Every prop and element was thoughtfully styled to highlight the attention to detail that Jess puts into each of her pieces. This allowed her artwork to take center stage, while also telling a visual story that speaks to the luxury and personalization her clients can expect when they work with her.

By the end of the session, we had created a collection of images that perfectly embodied the elevated, bespoke nature of Tulaloo. The carefully curated outfits and props helped showcase Jess’s artistry in a way that feels both aspirational and authentic. With these new visuals, Jess now has a set of branding images that will not only attract her dream clients but also convey the true essence of her work—delicate, custom, and designed to make her clients’ wedding days unforgettable. I’m so grateful to have had the chance to capture her artistry in such a meaningful way.
