When Allie Blair, founder of a boutique accounting firm supporting businesses and individuals with bookkeeping and tax filing, reached out for a branding session, I knew we were going to create something truly special. From our very first conversation, it was clear that Allie wanted more than just polished headshots—she wanted a full visual identity that reflected her professionalism, warmth, and the deeply personal way she shows up for her clients. To lay the foundation, I started by creating a custom mood board and shot list that mapped out the energy, color palette, and storytelling elements we’d bring to life. Every step of the planning process was intentional and collaborative, and I was so excited to help bring her brand vision into focus.
Wardrobe can make such a difference in how someone feels on camera, so I provided Allie with a personalized wardrobe guide to help her choose pieces that felt like the most confident and elevated version of herself. On set, I styled each look to align with the shoot’s vibe—balancing polish with authenticity. I also styled the studio to reflect the clean, modern, and approachable feel we outlined in her mood board. It was important that the space felt like an extension of Allie’s brand: calm, inspiring, and distinctly hers. From lighting to props, every detail was there to support the narrative we were creating.
To make the day as seamless and empowering as possible, I also coordinated professional hair and makeup so Allie could fully focus on showing up and feeling her best. I know being in front of the camera can feel vulnerable, so creating a supportive, encouraging environment is something I take seriously. Allie shared with me afterward that she felt completely at ease, truly seen, and beautifully supported—exactly how I want every client to feel. “Her studio is such a safe place to be you and know that you will be honored and respected,” she said, and hearing that meant everything to me.
The most rewarding part of this session was seeing Allie leave not just with stunning images, but with a renewed sense of self. She told me, “I left not only with beautiful photos, but with the confidence to keep showing up in my business as the best version of me.” That’s why I do what I do. My goal is always to uncover and reflect the most powerful, beautiful parts of who you are—so the world can see them just as clearly as you start to. I’m beyond grateful to have been a part of Allie’s journey, and to have helped her create a gallery that she feels proud, empowered, and aligned with.
